Book Give-Away to Celebrate 100th Post

Because I am fast approaching my 100th post on this blog, I have decided to offer my first contest. I'm giving away a paperback copy of Stephenie Meyer's first book, Twilight. If you want to be entered in this contest, just leave me a comment - it's that simple. For an extra entry, tell me which of my book reviews you have enjoyed so far.

That's it, that's all you have to do. The contest will be open until August 22, 2008.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who visits Bobbi's Book Nook, and especially those who leave comments. I appreciate each and every one of you.

Good luck!

You don't need to enter me in the contest because I've read it...but I do love to come by and read your reviews. Read 'em all. Even though I don't comment every time :-)

I was just at a girls' night and they were talking about this book and that it takes place where I had my first teaching job. I would love to win it. Thanks for always checking out my blog.

By the way, my favourite review is now the Neverending Story one!! (good timing!) I have seen the film a few times but don't think that I have read the book - will have to see if I can find a copy.

Happy 100th! I would love to jump on the trend train and enter your contest for TWILIGHT. There is a literal pyramid at the B&N I go to with her books, and newest on top, of course.

I would love to enter! My favorite review is for Breaking Dawn. I'm tired of reading of all these reviews of how terrible it is and that it didn't fit with the rest of the series. So it was nice to read something that wasn't so negative. It did have it's flaws but it also had it's moments.

"I did wonder why Dr. Cullens didn't think of giving Bella blood before he did - you would think a doctor would think of that, especially a vampire doctor." I have to completely agree! While I was reading that scene, I was stupefied. The answer is fairly obvious and you would have thought that a family of vampires housing a pregnant woman with a VAMPIRE baby would realize it would need blood.

I'm not overall pleased with the book somewhere 50/50 but I am happy with the series altogether.

Anyhow! Toss my name into the pile and I'll cross my fingers.

I would love to be entered. My favorite of your book reviews has to be Breaking Dawn--I COMPLETELY agreed with what you said, it's kinda scary. I was satisfied at the end as well, and I also do not think it is perfect.

I would loved to be entered! My favorite review would have to be Alice In Wonderland. I watched the movie but didn't completely enjoy it. Maybe the book would be better.

Pick me! I liked your review of "Feather Crowns" by Bobbie Ann Mason. I added it to my list of books to read. I'm an avid reader and I'm always looking for something good to read!

Well....congrats to you on your first 100 posts!! How cool is that.

Would you believe I have never read any of the Twilight books?? I just never caught the craze. But I do know I want to read them before the movies start. So I'd love to be entered in your contest!

I'd love to win Twilight! I'm pretty much the last book blogger in town to read it. My daughter (10 yrs) wants to read it and I want to read it first to see if it's appropriate for her age (I'm guessing it's not, but she's been begging me..)

Congratulations on 100 posts! :D

I'd like to be entered to win a copy of "TWILIGHT", please! :) (That is, if you allow Canadians to enter!) ;)

Since I'm fairly new to your blog, I haven't read your other reviews, but someone mentioned that you reviewed THE LAST LECTURE, so I'm going off to read that, now. ;)

Thanks!

Okay... for my second entry...

I went and read your reviews of both "The Last Lecture", and of "New Moon" (Stephenie Meyer). Both were great!

I just finished "New Moon" this past week, and I agree with what you said -- I needed more "Edward", and didn't get that from the second book.

And, I have a copy of "The Last Lecture"... I can't wait to read it, as I really was impressed by the YouTube video of his lecture.

Anyhoo. Thanks for letting me enter to win "TWILIGHT"! :)

I'd like to enter. I've read the book but I could use a copy as a class book. My students love them all.

I've enjoyed many of your reviews. You're a link on my blog.

I would love a chance to win Twilight!

My favorite review is probably "Are You There Vodka, It's Me Chelsa." I've been itching for a good humor book and based off of your review, it sounds great.

Please consider me entered. Up until 3 weeks ago I never heard of this series until Lula of Lulaville and a few others in a circle of bloggers raved about this series. They are obsessed over it and their excitement is contagious. I just wrote Lula today to say I will try to get the book this weekend and hope they have it in stock. Congrats on your blogiversary!
